The pairings are posted. Seven of the eight county schools play next week.
Five open the regional quarterfinals on Friday, Nov. 13. Two are home.
St. Augustine (9-1) hosts Lincoln (4-6) at H.L. ‘Foots’ Brumley Stadium in Class 4A, after a 5-0 run through District 4 left the Yellow Jackets first in it.
The statewide board’s card carries no kickoff. MaxPreps lists 7:30 p.m.
Lake Mary (2-8) comes to Creekside (8-2) in Class 6A. Creekside High School Stadium, 7:30.
The other three travel, all in Class 5A.
Bartram Trail (7-3) at Evans (7-3). Trojan Field, Orlando, 7:30.
Ponte Vedra (3-7) at Buchholz (9-1). Citizens Field, Gainesville, 7:30.
Nease (7-3) drew the long one. Pace (7-2) sits in Santa Rosa County in the western Panhandle, which keeps Central time, so the two boards split the clock: FloridaHSFootball prints the Patriots Stadium kickoff at 8:30, MaxPreps at 7:30.
Beachside (6-4) and Tocoi Creek (3-7) play a night earlier, Thursday, Nov. 12, and in a different bracket.
The board cards both games as FIT 6A-4A North Quarterfinals.
The FIT is the Florida Invitational Tournament. That is the FHSAA’s own name for it, and the 4A-6A bracket runs beside the class regionals.
Yulee (6-4) comes to Barracuda Stadium. 7:30.
Tocoi Creek goes to Lake Howell (6-4) in Winter Park. Same night, same clock.
The two roads end in different towns, which is the tell that they are different tournaments: the FIT championships run Dec. 3 to 5 at The Range at H.G. Morse Stadium in The Villages, and the class state championships run Dec. 9 to 12 at South Dade Kia Field at Pitbull Stadium in Miami.
Menendez is on no card. The school’s name appears nowhere in the week 13 file.
Seven games. Four bus rides.
The first one kicks off Thursday.
